An Overview Of The FTO Models 
The FTO was manufactured between Oct 1994 and Aug 2000 in a number of variants, but remained a 'grey import' outside of Japan and was not officially recognised by UK Mitsubishi Dealers until its very last years of production. The official MMC used vehicle Red Zebra import program did not begin until Aug 1998. 
Finding a 'factory-correct' FTO is a very rare event these days, but if you're interested in discovering the details of the full model range at inception then this broad guide may interest you enough to find out more from enthusiastic Club Members, or by adding your own knowledge to our Club Archives. A whole range of variations exist between the OEM models and years;
From seat patterns, suspension type, lights, climate control, sensors, etc., along with an OE Options choice. Subsequently, there was (and remains) a wide choice of aftermarket items that could be added by owners. 
As initial 'grey imports' to the UK, and with only used FTO vehicles on the market today, owners may well have changed items.
